Amazon upsell for your driver to dress up as Santa

This the season, after all

I’m not sure I ever believed in Santa Claus as a kid. My memory is not super sharp in the early years but I think my parents were pretty above-board that some guy was not coming down our chimney to deliver presents to every house, every year. Either that or I had excellent spatial reasoning skills and knew it would be impossible.

However, many families across America do try to keep the dream of Santa Claus alive for their children. With the advent of the internet and social media, I’d venture kids are getting wise to the truth at a younger and younger age, but tradition carries on.

Back in the day, you could go to your local department store and wait in line to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what you want for Christmas. As I typed that last sentence out I realized how truly insane it is that parents are just yeeting their children into strangers' laps, but maybe that’s a reflection on me than the state of the world.

All that said, wouldn’t it be just a little more convenient if you could have someone who’s already coming to your house dress up as Santa? For example, maybe your Amazon delivery driver could do it. The catch is you need to provide milk and cookies.

Part of me thinks this isn’t actually the worst idea, but I’m sure Amazon drivers wouldn’t love this idea.
