Apple Health Wrapped

For the active... or inactive

This year has been amazing for me on a professional level. Health-wise… it’s been less impressive. I built two companies this year (ironically one of them being a step-tracking app), but I was not very active because of how busy everything was.

I won’t say the new year will be a new me because I don’t like resolutions. If you’re going to do something, just do it instead of waiting for a holiday. That being said, the end of the year does create a natural space for self-reflection, and thankfully people around me have encouraged (some would say forced) me to be more active in 2025, so it’s looking like this change will happen even if it’s slow at first.

This got me thinking about health-tracking products like Apple Health. What if they showed you an end-of-year activity summary, steps taken, etc? I’m guessing this would be a great moment of success for some and an alarming wake-up call for others.

This is half unhinged, half useful, as I could see people benefitting from it, depending on how stats are surfaced/positioned.
