A dentist in your pocket
I recently went to the dentist and found out I have zero cavities (yay). Unfortunately, I also found out the hard way that eating a bagel right after a teeth cleaning can be pretty painful. Apparently, you’re supposed to wait for a while after a cleaning? Seems arbitrary, but I digress.
Some of us are born with a predisposition to bad breath. Other people are born with a stronger sense of smell than the average person. Unfortunately, my breath doesn’t have the most organically pleasant odor and my partner has an extremely developed sense of smell.
This makes dental care (and mouthwash) a crucial part of my daily routine. For those of us who are prone to be more forgetful, what if there was a way to make a screentime/health app crossover where you need to take care of certain health actions to retain the use of your phone?
A third of Americans don’t brush their teeth twice a day and 2% don’t brush their teeth at all. It seems this feature might actually be useful, not just unhinged.
Happy Friday and thank you for reading my newsletter!
