Doordash Bite Request

Morning all. It's Thursday aka Friday eve.

Have you ever experienced the chaos of having your Doordash driver eat your food while it's in transit? Thankfully, I haven't. However I saw something like this somewhere on the internet once, though at this point it's been lost to the sands of time.

Thanks to a friend who texted me a suggestion this idea has shot back to the front of my mind. Shoutout to John Harzan. Here's a snippet of our text convo.

Once we had the idea I was trying to think of how to retrofit it into the UI, but I realized it'd be more realistic to just show a push notification. It's funny how simple yet powerful this idea is. Designing this one was a lot of fun.
