DoorDash block restaurants for others

For their health, of couse

Most people break their New Year’s resolution by the second Friday in January. We’ve already flown by that Friday. If you’re still at it, good for you. This past week I made the lifestyle shift to focus on my physical fitness and it has been a rough adjustment. Going from an almost completely sedentary lifestyle to lifting, walking, and eating seemingly inordinate amounts of protein has proven challenging (but rewarding).

This got me thinking about culinary vices. It’s easy to eat poorly because 1) it’s convenient and 2) it often tastes better than generic “healthy” food. To be fair, healthy food can taste excellent but often requires more work than nuking a pizza in the microwave.

This got me thinking about social accountability. What if there was a way to block unhealthy restaurants for other people in DoorDash? I can imagine how infuriating it’d be to realize you can’t get Taco Bell when you want to, though it’d probably be healthier not to in the long run.

This application of the idea isn’t great, but I'm super interested in a multiplayer DoorDash experience. I could see it being popular if it was properly implemented.
