Fight for an Instagram Handle

A fun byproduct of amassing a large online following is sometimes people are mean to you for no reason. Thankfully, most of you are nice, but a friend of mine got a cold DM from someone that literally just said “You suck dude” (I can confirm, my friend does not super.

This got me thinking. What if instead of taking negative messages lying down there was a way to do something about them?

Originally when I started with this idea, all I had was the idea of challenging someone to fight. The idea of putting money on the table is a fun extra variable, but it could get really spicy if there was an option to duke it out for a username.

The unintended byproduct of this would likely be more online hate, not less. However, some form of digital jousting for a handle could be a pretty entertaining experience.
