Find My Friends Sounds

Find My Friends is an incredibly useful feature to surveil the people you care about. Sure, it’s also a way to make sure people are doing okay, but it feels a little invasive. I was thinking over the weekend about what would make it more invasive, and then I had an idea.

What if on Find My Friends you could tap buttons to play sounds on other people’s phones? I imagine you’d be able to get someone’s attention pretty quickly if you could play a fart sound when they least expect it. Annoying? Yes. Invasive? A little bit. However, it’s extremely effective if you really, really need to get a hold of someone.

Given the potential for abuse of a feature like this, I don’t see a world where Apple brings this to market. However, it’d be fun to make as a solo/side project, though I don’t know what the limitations are on Apple’s hardware.
