Google Docs remove corporate jargon feature

Making work documents readable

If you’ve worked at a corporation of any size, you may have been exposed to some unnecessarily big words. Terms like deliverables, circle back, alignment, leverage, and more are all too common in the workplace. They’re impressive words but often don’t mean much.

At times, using big words like this is conflated with making long, overly complicated documents that can be difficult to read.

Given recent developments in AI, what if there was a Google Docs feature to remove corporate jargon? It could replace complex words with simple ones, and help people get to the point faster when reading.

My guess is this feature would be widely used and expose people who write unnecessarily long and complicated things.
