Google Maps back to driving school

Unhinged but probably useful

When you live in Southern California, you get exposed to a lot of bad drivers. I probably am one of those drivers at times to be fair. It's likely the nature of living in a big city, but I notice how nuts I am any time I go back to a smaller town and see the contrast between my driving style and the locals. Even so, there are many people around LA who are way wilder than I am.

This got me thinking… what if there were a way to penalize bad drivers within Google Maps? I imagine you could use a cars information to file a report and Google could tie it back if they have the right information to your account, and then ban you from getting directions until you complete driver training school.

The only way something like this would ever get implemented is if it becomes federally mandated. Just doing this would almost certainly kill your business if others were not doing the same thing. That said, I do think it could help some people drive with a bit more caution.
