Google Meet teleprompter
For team building around sports

I’m not a big sports guy, but I tune in to watch the Super Bowl. My dad is a massive Chiefs fan, so I’m more engaged than I would typically be in this uniquely American sporting event. Also, a friend directed one of today's ads, so I wanted to tune in for that.
This got me thinking about the inevitable small talk that will permeate thousands of workplaces across the country tomorrow. Given that my team (sports metaphor!) is largely remote, we are spared from excessive small talk, but I think about my old corporate days when we had to engage in a fair amount of mindless yapping.
What if there was a way to power this experience with AI? You can imagine a not-so-far-off future where a teleprompter feeds lines to managers, allowing them to fully check out and simply spit out whatever the AI tells them to.
To some extent, teleprompters are already worming their way into the workplace via people who try to generate responses with AI and then read them back. The implications of this at scale are a little scary while imagining a middle manager calling out a random team member on what they ate during the Super Bowl is a bit funny.
I’d try using this at least once if it existed.
