Google Meeting total meetings for 2025

Happy New Year everyone. I slept in a fair amount today (which is why today’s newsletter is so late, my apologies). 2025 is already shaping up to be a crazy year. I’m trying to mentally and emotionally prepare myself while hopefully setting up systems and processes that make this year less insane for work (read, sleeping more).

As I orient myself to the New Year, I look at everything on my plate, and I’m trying to be more mindful of what requires my deep attention vs. things that I can dedicate to other team members. This is largely in an attempt to claw back time, though meetings inevitably find their way onto my calendar.

This got me thinking… what if when you opened Google Calendar for the first time in 2025 you got an overview of how many meetings you already have scheduled for the new year? This would be demoralizing but maybe it could motivate you to clean up your calendar. Somehow I doubt it would stick though.
