Google reviews for restaurant customers

I was talking with a friend last week who worked for a long time in the restaurant industry. It’s a grueling profession, but he said he enjoyed his stints at the fancier restaurants because the tips tended to be pretty good.

Whenever I go to a nice restaurant I try to A) leave a good tip and B) make sure that I am a low-maintenance customer. Unless there is something obviously wrong with my food, I figure it’s not a hill worth dying on.

Not all people are like this.

There are some… insane people out there who have unrealistically high expectations of people working in the food service industry. But what if we held those people accountable?

This might look like a Google feature where you could leave reviews of customers. It would be a great accountability mechanism, but would also create a weird dynamic between restaurant workers and diners.

Have a friend who would get horrible reviews from waiters?
