Google Slides goal-based templates
What is it you're trying to say?

A significant portion of my job these days is just making decks. Decks for external review. Decks for internal team conversations. Decks for critique. You get the picture. When done properly, decks are clarifying and help align people. When done poorly, decks are a massive pain.
This got me thinking about Google Slides (thankfully, I mainly use Figma Slides these days). What if when you were creating a new deck, it asked you what you were hoping to achieve with the deck you’re making? Realistically, all decks have an underlying goal, even if the goal is “don’t get fired.” Why not be honest with ourselves when making these documents?
It’s a dumb idea, but there’s also something to be said for the unbundling/simplification of corporate communications. I don’t see this getting built for any reason, but it would be funny if it did.
