IMDB Nepo Baby Warning

Happy Thursday all.

I don't know if I'm slowly fading into irrelevancy or if the cultural vernacular is just evolving too fast, but I recently found out about the concept of "nepo babies".

So what's a nepo baby?

Essentially it's someone who benefitted in their profession from nepotism. For example, Ben Stiller's folks were actors. This makes him a nepo baby.

Nepotism is rampant in many, many industries but celebrities are more prone to being outed as benefactors of nepotism because well... they're famous. To that end, I had a Twitter follower named Caleb DM me the suggestion for an IMDB feature that directly calls out nepo babies on their actor profile page. Such a fun idea.

I added the link to "meet the parents" as it would be a fun way to see an actor's entire family tree and potentially discover new people and movies.
