iMessage silence notifications from certain people

Happy Monday and hope everyone reading this had a great weekend. I had family in town for the weekend which was a nice change of pace. It’s nice to see loved ones, especially when they’re typically on the other side of the country.

Throughout this weekend, work was very distracting. I had a lot of things that kept popping up, and though I tried to manage (or ignore it) I started to think about the silencing notifications feature. The way it’s currently designed, you can see if someone has silenced notifications for a message thread. This intentionally does not reveal how many questions they’ve silenced (or if it’s everything).

What if it showed how many people they are currently silencing? You can imagine how sad the UI would be if they chose to silence just you.

This is kind of a throwaway idea, but I’m pretty tired so… here we are. Rest of this week should be fun though 😉
