Instagram excessive story warning

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If a band plays a concert but no one posts a story of it, did it happen?

I don’t know why, but people have a compulsion to record stories at concerts. It’s stressful when I open up Instagram and see that someone has recorded like 30 different snippets of the Beyoncé concert. This goes beyond just concerts too. I’ll see people post stuff about baby showers, weddings, or other family events and it gets to be too much.

What if Instagram could detect when you post too much and tell you to give it a rest? Sure, this would frustrate the power users of stories, but it would be nice for their followers to not be inundated with 10 minutes of content that no one is going to watch (let’s be honest).

This modal isn’t really a typical pattern in Instagram’s UI, but thought it would be fun to make regardless.
