iOS Alarms for Friends

In the past year, I’ve had more than one instance where my team members and I must be up at weird times to launch a project or attend an important meeting. For the most part, people are good to. However, there’s some natural anxiety that comes with relying on people to show up for things super early or late in the day.

This got me thinking about sharing permissions with applications like Google Docs. If it’s so easy to share a document, why can’t we share alarms with people? Even better, why can’t we fully customize the audio that’s used to wake someone up?

An unsolicited Google Doc is fairly innocuous. An unsolicited alarm, on the other hand, could be quite frustrating. I’m imagining getting a 7am alarm blasting Master of Puppets on a Saturday and let me tell you, I would not be happy.
