iOS with gravity

Almost like an app snowglobe

Good morning and happy Tuesday. For those who celebrated the long weekend, I hope you enjoyed it.

Today’s idea is not so much a feature as it is exploring what would happen if a part of the real world (gravity) correlated directly to the digital world. I’m pretty sure it’d be possible to build something like this, though I’d venture to guess it would be quite animation-heavy and significantly impact device performance.

There’s not much utility here, but I do think it would be fun to build and could be a fun easter egg to hide in a piece of software. You could even introduce more granular controls over how much gravity items have so that they are either super bouncy and sensitive to motion or quite heavy.
