iOS tiny little apps instead of notification indicators
Rendering the homescreen completely unusable
Thanksgiving break is OVER. We are back on the work grind for a few weeks before the holidays. Retailers are pushing to close more sales, businesses are finalizing contracts, and people are doing shopping for the holidays. Also, everyone who’s been putting off hanging out for the entire year is trying to get together this month. It’s going to be a marathon of a month, I can already tell.
I was able to unplug and recharge over the last few days, which has been much-needed and very relaxing. However, time does not stand still. Several people have texted me about wanting to hang out and making plans for the next few weeks.
This got me thinking about the unread notifications that were piling up on my phone. What if, instead of a fixed indicator attached to an app, the app itself multiplies for how many unread notifications you have?
This would render many phones completely unusable. Also, the physics and animation required to make this feature work would likely consume extra battery power.
It’d be annoying to use, but fun as a jailbreak feature.
