iOS where only the caller can hang up

I love a good phone call. As I’ve stated previously, it’s the best way to pick up on conversational nuance, tone, and the overall vibe rather than texting or emailing someone. However, it seems younger generations (including my own) don’t like to talk on the phone.

This got me thinking about when someone receives incoming calls and wants to get off the phone. What if we didn’t allow this? You can imagine an experience where you receive an incoming call but you aren’t able to hang up until they decide to end the conversation.

This would be a nightmare for people with chatty friends and family. I don’t see much utility here, but it’d be a great way to make conversations happen, whether you like it or not.
