LinkedIn one click apply to all the jobs

The job market is rough right now. AI has been an excuse for many large companies to gut out a significant portion of their workforce, even if they don’t yet have the AI infrastructure they need to supplement these people. It’s sad to see. However, I don’t see a world where we go back to the way things were. Thankfully, platforms like LinkedIn allow people to apply for jobs.

Features like EasyApply make it possible to apply to multiple jobs in rapid succession. What if we lowered the barrier to entry even more? I can imagine an experience where you click a button and EasyApply for all 9 or 10 million open jobs on the platform.

To be clear, this is a bad idea. Recruiting is always a mess, and this would just make things even messier for both candidates and the companies looking to hire. I don’t think there’s a clear solution, but this is definitely not it.
