Many people take pride in their professional identity. Enjoying your work is admirable, but making it your sole focus in life probably isn’t a healthy choice. People still do though.

Interestingly, typical dating apps index more on personal interests and hobbies outside of work rather than the granular details of someone’s professional life. However, when finding a romantic partner you might want to see their career trajectory over time.

For these slightly unhinged people who care too much about work, what if there was a way to ask people on a date directly from LinkedIn? This would create an entirely new set of social dynamics on LinkedIn and open up potential revenue opportunities.

I hope LinkedIn dating doesn’t happen, but I could see it.
