Lyft allow your driver to speed

I've used rideshare apps to experience drivers who are obnoxiously slow but also some who are frighteningly fast. It's truly a mixed bag. There are times when you really need to get somewhere fast, and I've found you typically pay a premium for that.

What if instead of paying a premium, you actually paid less but encouraged your driver to get there as quickly as possible? The caveat with this being that if you get caught speeding you have to pay the full price of the speeding ticket.

Call it: Turbo Mode

The incentive for a driver to do this is low because they would be the ones who get the ticket. The incentive for the passenger is also low because who wants to pay the ticket. However, desperate times call for desperate measures and sometimes Turbo Mode might be the only option.
