Mike's Hard Lemon Créme Pie Pop Tarts

Happy Monday all. 

As a kid, I ate more than my fair share of Pop-Tarts. The Smores flavor was my favorite, but more often I ate the blueberry flavor, which was pretty good too. I recently discovered they make a lemon créme pie flavor. Now, I don't personally like lemon-flavored desserts (unless they're slightly underbaked lemon bars), but this isn't a newsletter about my dietary preferences.

The moment I realized this insane flavor variant existed I got to work creating the mockup for Mike's Hard Pop Tarts. According to Better Homes & Gardens, booze-infused desserts are a thing. Yuck.

I sent this mockup to a few friends and the alarming thing was that people thought these genuinely sounded good. If you dig enough you really can find a market for pretty much anything.
