Netflix are you SURE you're still watching?
If you aren't there will be consequences

Looking back at my childhood, I’m amazed at how much free time I had. Life’s gotten so busy that it’s hard to find moments to simply chill and do nothing/relax, but that’s an issue to be sorted out some other time.
When I was younger and Netflix existed, I would watch for hours on end. I remember flying through Breaking Bad for the first time during my freshman year of college. Simpler times. I also remember being rudely prompted by Netflix to confirm I was still watching the show. Yes, it was 3 am, but nothing could pull me away from what Walt and Jesse were going to do next.
The “are you still watching” is a concept I riffed on last year with an upsell to a Betterhelp Therapist. After making the Hulu ads quiz recently, a friend mentioned that I should do something similar with Netflix. What if Netflix verified you were still watching by asking you a detail about the show?
The biggest thing that people would hate is if it locked you out for answering incorrectly. A quiz as a fun interaction could be delightful, but adding punishment would not sit well with most people.
