Netflix title sequence feedback when you skip

Everyone's a critic

In college, I had a moment where I thought I wanted to work in film as a production designer. I spoke about it with a member of my extended family, telling them that I was debating between film and advertising (a lot has changed since then), and they laughed and told me to do ad, saying that those people are the ones who “tell him what to do”.

I respect people who work in the film industry. It seems hard to 1) find work 2) get good ideas made and 3) adapt to a landscape that’s being upended by AI.

On top of this, everyone will critique your work, constantly. Even if a movie sucks, it likely still to an enormous amount of work to create.

This got me thinking about the title sequence, which has lost a lot of attention in the past few decades. What if there was a way to skip the title sequence on movies, with the caveat that you have to give feedback to the designer?

The most likely outcome here is people pasting gibberish into the response field unless you have some sort of layer built into the app that detects responses and checks them for quality. I don’t think this is helpful, but I’d love to see more people give hard creative work the attention it deserves.
