Ring feature to deter solicitors with fart smells

Yesterday I had to take off my Google (Nest?) doorbell because I needed to charge it. Overall I like the doorbell but tbh I don’t use it a ton. Thankfully my neighborhood is pretty safe.

One thing we’re not safe from is solicitors. I have had scores of people come to my door trying to sell me solar and they are aggressive. It’s annoying. I understand it’s a sales job but when I’ve said no 5 times and my dog is screaming you should probably leave.

This got me thinking about a more passive-aggressive way (emphasis on the aggressive… what if there was a way to deploy a stinky scent from your Ring or Google doorbell to deter solicitors?

I would venture to guess that this would make people think twice before coming back, especially if the stench sits with them for a while.
