Slack deceased coworker chat

Make the actionable insights permanent

One of the hardest parts of any company is picking up the pieces after an important person leaves or is let go. You have to often piece together information and institutional knowledge is lost. I experienced this at multiple agencies and during my time at Cash App. It was tough and likely lost the companies a lot of money in the short term.

This got me thinking about platforms like Slack. What if there were a way to transform deceased coworkers into conversational LLMs? Imagine you could talk with people well after they’re “gone” based on historical data that’s been stored.

This is a bit unhinged but at the same time it could be quite valuable. There are a lot of privacy and ethics considerations one would have to consider, but I give this a nonzero chance of getting implemented someday. Would be wild but I could see it.
