Sleep for more screen time

Last night was a late night. When I say late, I mean like up til 6am late. It was rough.

Oh well, it happens sometimes. Thankfully, the next few days will hopefully be more relaxed, but you never know what’s around the corner I guess.

As I pondered why I was up so late, I asked myself how to design a feature to help me in these sleep-deprived moments. What if there was a feature in iOS Screen Time moderation where you could limit how much you can use an app based on how much you’ve slept?

For many, I’d venture to guess that they would not be able to spend much time on their phone (I know I wouldn’t). This would be an adjustment, but ultimately some sort of minimum threshold for sleeping would be very advantageous for people who don’t get enough rest. I, for one, could desperately use a feature like this at times.
