Spotify add to other's queues
*chaos ensues immediately*

If I look back at the subscriptions I pay for on an ongoing basis, Spotify is likely one of the products I’ve been the most loyal to. I’ve been an avid user of the product since 2011/2012 which is… now 13 years. Yikes. It’s been interesting watching the product evolve over time. While the core experience (listening to music) hasn’t changed too significantly, there are a lot more bells and whistles than there used to be.
One of the features I should use more often is the queue. It’s very helpful to tee up songs to play after each other. I was thinking about how Halloween is coming up and wondered… what if you could add songs to other people’s queues?
Spotify already has collaborative playlists. To be able to put songs on someone else’s profile unsolicited would be insane. In addition to the friends who would troll each other, I can imagine groups coordinating mass efforts to spam queues in order to monetize their music. Suffice it to say, while it could be a fun stunt, this would be a nightmare if it existed.
