Spotify Aggressive Karaoke

Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope the week is off to a good start.

For those who might be unfamiliar, Spotify has a feature on their extremely popular songs where the lyrics are shown and the words change color as the song plays. Think of it like a lightweight karaoke experience.

This creates a really fun option to sing along to the song, or at least learn the words if you so desire. However, what if we made the karaoke aspect a mandatory feature?

Instead of just showing you the words, your words could power the songs. Inversely, if you stop singing (or if you aren't good at it) the song would stop playing. There are a low of fun directions you could take this by allowing people to rank on a leaderboard, upload covers of the songs, etc. However, punishing people for being bad at singing is a questionable move.
