Share your song with the world

As a kid, I remember rifling through cassette tapes and CDs to find the right song for the drive. When I got older, we moved on to the auxiliary cord. It felt like magic when you could plug in your phone and listen to anything stored on your device. Imagine my surprise when you could listen to any song, any time, any place a few years later. The rate of technological change is astounding, but also I’m getting old.

Sometimes, you vibe with a song so much that you wish people were around to enjoy it with you. Or maybe you’re a musician struggling to get your music out there. Either way… what if there was a way to “broadcast” your music to more people on Spotify?

One could imagine a scenario where you are able to specify the radius of the broadcast. Beginning your broadcast would force every account in range to automatically play the song that you wish.

Immediately I imagine a slight latency between phones in a similar area. In this example, you’d get a weird multi-layered cacophony that might not even be recognizable as Sandstorm. You might not know what the song is
