Tinder profile age indicator

It’s not exactly news that the dating market can be brutal. You face constant rejection, and it can feel demoralizing if you don’t have a lot of interest in your profile after being “on the market” for a while. You’re also now dealing with people who are willing to pay for Tinder Select, their $500/mo offering.

I’d like to see how people respond to a Tinder profile that shows how many days someone has been on the app as well as how many dates they’ve been on since then. It’s likely a bad idea, but it might help people realize the disproportionate attention that certain profiles receive.

If you see a profile that’s been on the app for years and has only been on a couple of dates it might be a signal that something is off. However, the idea of publicly showing how much “competition” there is for a profile is an interesting concept to me.

Either way, I’m very grateful to be off the market.
