Tinder see when they match with your contact
Yikes

The older I get, the more horrifying I imagine dating apps must be. Trying to find someone in one of the most socially and politically charged environments in recent history, coupled with an onslaught of AI-generated content. What a nightmare. Thankfully I’ve been happily married for nearly 5 years.
Dating pools are weird because there’s inevitable overlap with your existing social graph. I know it’s not a huge deal but crossing the beams feels like it might be awkward at times. This led me to wonder. What if you could see when someone you matched with has matched with people in your contacts?
There are many follow up questions on the UX. Do you see this after you swipe left or right? Before? Are you able to pay to hide your interactions from others? Can you see exactly who or just that there’s overlap? This is interesting because I could see something like this existing, but it would likely cause more conflict than it would solve.
