Uber Eats BetterHelp upsell

Based on order history, obviously

Over the last 6 months, I have gotten so busy that I’ve caved a bit and started ordering food from DoorDash. There’s a healthy ghost-kitchen near where I live and they make some salads that slap. While I could go on about my dietary behavior, that’s not what you come here for, so I’ll stop.

There’s something nice about regularly eating at the same place. I took this to the extreme during my college years when I was on a first-name basis with everyone at my local Taco Bell. Donna (a Taco Bell employee who loved going to Burning Man) even brought her kids to an event my dorm threw over the holidays.

I’m aware regular consumption of Taco Bell is suboptimal, to say the least. These days I know my body couldn’t stomach that. However, I’m aware people eat the same thing a ton out of thriftiness, convenience, or because they’re going through something.

To that end, what if there was an integration between Uber Eats and BetterHep where you get upsold a therapist if you’ve been ordering the same thing too much? Order frequency is an obvious trigger for the upsell, but I’m sure there are many more.

I highly doubt Uber ever launches this, as it cannibalizes their business and would likely make a lot of people mad (though some small subset of the population might be helped by it).
