Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. Many of us are with family and loved ones over the holidays. This often involves a lot of food, cookies, and treats, but this doesn’t necessarily mean we want to cook. Typically it seems like a small subset of our families do a disproportionate amount of the cooking.

Uber Eats and DoorDash are viable alternatives for those who are avoiding cooking. If you do end up ordering out this holiday season, please do your driver a solid and give them a nice tip. They deserve it.

This got me thinking though… what if there was a way they could earn a little bit of extra money by having drivers dress up as Santa? Yes, most drivers wouldn’t want to do this because it’s weird, but I think there’s a niche market for holiday-themed food delivery The question becomes how many deliveries it takes to offset the cost of the costumes.

Is this a throwaway idea for the holidays? Yes. Will we be back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow? Also yes.
