Uber piggyback
The most eco-friendly option

Thankfully, I don’t need to use Uber much in my daily life. Unless I’m in a city like San Francisco or New York, I’m more than happy to drive myself around. Yes, there will inevitably be instances where I use Waymo instead, but overall, Uber tends to be a reliable way to get to and from the airport on time when traveling.
However, not everyone wants to ride in an old Honda Civic that smells weird and has the heat on way too high. This got me thinking about alternate forms of transportation, especially in dense metropolitan areas. What if there were an option to simply get a piggyback from a driver?
First off, your driver would need to have calves of steel to do this and get you very far. A lot of logistical complexities would be introduced with larger passengers, and legal would have a field day with this. There’s no way I see Uber actually launching a feature like this, but it’s a great thought experiment.
