Uber stink ban

It’s not often that my work is inspired by real events. However, I was recently traveling to New York. During this trip (and each time I go to New York) I try to hit a new bagel spot, and return to my favorite place Best Bagel & Coffee on West 35th. However, this trip I ran out of time. The only moment when I was able to get my bagel was right before going to the airport.

This meant I had to eat an everything bagel with garlic cream cheese in my Uber or on the plane… My approach ended up utilitarian. By ingesting it in the Uber I caused damage to the fewest amount of people. My poor driver.

This got me thinking… Uber should be able to ban people if they do something stinky. I’m sure my rating when down a bit that day, though I did provide a generous tip. Art does in fact imitate life.
