United bathroom ejection

Air travel is gnarly. As a tall person, I have to channel my inner sardine if I’m going to pack into the back of a plane. I flew a redeye last night and made the rare decision to fly business class so I can actually get some sleep on the rest (as I’ll be working a full day tomorrow).

I heard a story from my family recently of someone who was in a plane bathroom for too long and ended in an altercation. I don’t remember the details, but I’d guess it’s a Google search away.

I’ve had to wait for a bathroom to open up. It’s the worst. This got me thinking… what if there was a feature one planes where users could opt to eject people who take too long in the bathroom? This would 100% motivate people to finish their business more expeditiously.

Now to be fair, this wouldn’t get built for obvious reasons. There’s probably some way to create incentives, but this is a bit drastic.
