Zillow is the owner on the market

There’s… a lot going on in the world right now. Something that has been in the news lately is whether or not interest rates are going to be cut in the next few months. I am a dummy when it comes to macroeconomic policy, so I’m not going to throw my hat in the ring on the nuances of these issues. What I do know is that houses are expensive, and this trend does not seem to be reversing.

Quickly skimming houses in my area for fun got me thinking… what if you could see whether the owner was “on the market” (dating) along with their house? An open house turns into a decision about not one, but two of the most important decisions you make in your life.

There are enough trust and safety concerns with a feature like this that I don’t think anything like this ever gets built. However, there’s probably some tangential angle here that could make for an interesting way to bring people together to potentially find love.
